On Friday, July 19th, I joined Jessica & Adam at the Enchanted Barn in Hillsdale, WI while they and their friends and family joined them in celebrating their love. The Enchanted Barn is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful places to get married. It is resplendent with beauty, complete with rolling hills, horses, a beautiful garden path, and adorable signs directing your way wherever you go on the property. For the wanderlusts in us, there is even a hidden swing, high atop a hill overlooking the entire property that is absolutely glorious at night. With the twinkling stars, the glow of light coming from the barn, and the echo of excited voices reaching your ears at that swing, you cannot help but believe in magic. When the owners of The Enchanted Barn chose their name, they chose wisely. Many times, when you hear how beautiful a place is, you over prepare yourself and sometimes find yourself disappointed. I can promise that the beauty of this property is almost unrivaled.
The barn was the perfect place for two people, so head over heels in love, as Jessica and Adam are to get married. When you see them together, you can tell there is a mutual love and respect that comes from a pure understanding of who the other person is. They love one another because of their flaws and they celebrate one another as a true couple in love should.
Many of the details of their wedding day, were unique to them and defines who they are. From custom made decorations, to Jessica’s ring that boasts not a diamond, but smokey rose quartz, to the ice cream served by local Eau Claire, WI vendor 9 Degrees at their wedding rather than cake. The highlight of the entire celebration was definitely the reciting of personal vows Jessica & Adam wrote one another. During Adam’s vows, there was not a dry eye in the house (or um, rather…barn), including his own. His dedication not only to Jess, but also to their girls was absolutely beautiful and heartfelt. Jess’s sister Marla, was also the person who married Jessica & Adam, and she did an amazing job. Jess & Adam’s mutual friends are part of a band called The Clintons, and rather than a djay, they provided the musical entertainment for the night. After dinner, the sky was lit up with the golden glow and warmth of a fire, as the guests played yard games and enjoyed one another. A down to earth, casual celebration that reflected the personalities of both the bride & groom.
I hope you enjoy the photos I have prepared for you, my heart & soul went into them. I think it shows. Leave some love below if you liked the images, I love hearing from you!
